San Carlos Charter (SCC), a progressive K-8 charter school located in San Carlos, is seeking a 0.3 FTE Library Technician.
The SCC curriculum is centered on current research about learning and the grouping of students. All instruction is based on the constructivist learning theory and multiple intelligence theory, so children are engaged in hands-on, minds-on learning everyday. Curriculum is created by educators and is structured around integrated thematic units. We are resource-based (no textbooks) and instructional practices promote learning in multi-age classroom settings with two grade levels of children in one classroom.
The Librarian Technician position is currently a job share and is split .7 FTE and .3 FTE. For 2025-26, we are seeking someone to join this established job share position at 0.3 FTE.
