Carolyn Davies Lynch

Carolyn Davies Lynch is a proud SCC parent, mom to current learners Skye and Soji, and also to future learners Hawking and Maverick!

In her day job, Carolyn serves as Chief Operating Officer of Rocketship Public Schools, a nonprofit organization running public charter elementary schools in low-income communities across the country. At Rocketship, she leads teams focused on topics including information technology, compliance, student information, school operations, facilities maintenance, nutrition programs, board operations, and procurement. Carolyn joined Rocketship in 2011, and prior to her role as COO, she founded Rocketship’s Strategy & Scalability team, working to define organizational strategy, build scalable systems supporting growth, and lead development efforts.

Carolyn came to Rocketship from Boston Consulting Group, where she led strategic work for organizations ranging from school districts to public health foundations to multinational corporations. Carolyn is a Pahara-Aspen Fellow, and holds an MBA and a Masters of Education from Stanford, and a BA in Applied Math and Economics from Harvard. Her family history drives her passion for the belief that all students deserve the transformative experience of a high-quality education, as her mother comes from a long line of public school educators, and her father was first in his family to attend college.
